Struggling with what to buy for a lady in your life this Mother’s Day? I’ve got you! Check out this curated list below filled with great gifts in all price points!
I believe books always make great gifts, but this one is especially perfect for really any Christian lady! It’s a collection of over 100 devotionals written by ladies of faith over the history of the Dainty Jewell’s blog, covering a wide range of topics that will connect with ladies of all ages and stages of life. You can purchase a copy on the Dainty Jewell’s site (linked above), but also on Amazon if you prefer.
2. A Beautiful Year in the Bible: The 52-Week Bible Study for Women by Alabaster Co.
This one is personally on my own wishlist right now! I love doing a Bible in a Year reading plan every year, but like to try different plans from one year to the next (like reading in chronological order or choosing a reading plan on my Bible app that comes with daily devotional videos to watch), and this 52 week Bible study by Alabaster Co. looks like such a beautiful option! They have it available in hardback, paperback, and spiral bound formats (hardcover linked above) and it includes over 200 pages of full color artwork in between the daily reading and study entries.
My grandmother got my mom and my aunt these lamps for Christmas this past year and we all thought they were just the coolest things! It’s a battery operated lamp that is waterproof and safe for you to put in the shower or beside your bathtub. It can change to various colors and brightness levels, turning an ordinary nighttime soak into a cozy, relaxing, spa-like experience! You can find many different options for these on Amazon, but I’ve linked one of the best selling ones above.
This was another gift from this past Christmas, which I purchased for my mom and for our white elephant gift exchange with my extended family. You see plenty of portable purse-sized fans out there, but this one also functions as a flashlight and a power bank! Plus, the foldable design allows for easy storage and lets you sit it upright on a table or other hard surface.
Of course, you can never go wrong with a Dainty Jewell’s dress! And right now, with the new Summer Sonata collection out, it’s the perfect time to purchase a timeless and elegant piece a lady in your life will be able to enjoy for years to come. There are so many beautiful options available across the DJ catalog, from swim dresses to casual cotton pieces to classy evening wear!
6. Storyworth
This is by far my favorite gift I’ve ever given my grandmother over the years. The Christmas after my Pawpaw passed away, I knew I wanted to get my Mawmaw something extra special, but I had no idea what. Then along came an Instagram ad for a company called Storyworth, and as soon as I looked into it, I knew it was the perfect gift I’d been looking for! You can purchase a Storyworth subscription for either yourself or a loved one, and for one year they will send your chosen recipient emails with writing prompts like “How you met your spouse?” or “What was your childhood like?” The exact prompts don’t have to be followed, but the idea is the weekly questions give you the opportunity to write down stories from your life, email them in to Storyworth, and then at the end of the one year subscription, you can design a beautiful keepsake hardback book filled with all your stories for your family to cherish! It’s truly a priceless gift! The finished book my grandmother wrote will forever be a cherished possession of mine and now holds a special place of honor on my bookshelves.
7. Bonus Idea: Quality time!
At the end of the day, sometimes simply spending some quality time with the person you love can be all the gift you need! Gifts are great, but they will fade and wear out with time, yet memories and those special moments spent together, even doing something simple, will last a lifetime and may ultimately mean more than any gift ever could! As you celebrate this Mother’s Day, don’t forget to slow down and make time to let the important ladies in your life know just how much you treasure them.
