A Chat With White Door Events: Full-Service Event Production & Design

August 31, 2020 · by Charity Walter

Every time we release a new collection, I'm amazed and overwhelmed with how all the details have come together.

And I'm not just talking about the cohesiveness of the collection pieces or the production of the dresses, though those things are obviously important. But the success of a great photoshoot goes beyond attractive clothing designs and breathtaking pieces. I'd be lost without the team of people that comes together to help make my dreams come to life: lovely models, a talented photographer, an efficient staff, and the list goes on and on!

One company in particular who really made our recent photoshoot super special was White Door Events, a full-service event production and design company that supplied several of the beautiful photo props you'll see in our upcoming fall collection images. I've included a few here, but we have more images of their products and props coming with our spring photos! If you're planning a wedding or a big photo session, I hope these bring a little inspiration.

My team recently caught up with White Door Events for an interview, and I'm excited to share it with you today. If you're planning an event, give them a call! Enjoy the interview below. ❤

We're excited to be able to share a little about White Door Events with our readers! In a nutshell, what is White Door Events?

White Door Events is a full-service event production and design company. With over thirty years of experience in the event industry, we offer unparalleled knowledge and service, as well as a treasure trove of meticulously curated inventory to take your event to the next level.

We were so excited to work with you while in Memphis! What other areas does White Door Events service?

White Door Events is headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee, with a secondary location in Nashville. We service events nationwide and beyond. Recently, we’ve been to Las Vegas, Washington D.C., South Florida, and Montana. We are more than happy to come to you wherever you are!

We loved the unique sofas, chairs, and tables that we rented for our shoot. What other rentals or services are available?

We offer everything from staging and linens to cutting-edge lighting and on-trend lounge furniture. Our designers work hand-in-hand with our clients, combining their vision with our product to bring their events to life.

Beyond rental product, we have an in-house workshop that fabricates custom pieces to fit our clients' needs. We have also recently entered into the expo & home staging industries as well as launching our newest extension, White Door Essentials, where we are selling slightly used, showroom-quality overstock merchandise.

What are some popular wedding decor trends are you seeing right now?

This particular season, we have noticed a swing towards at-home weddings--which we are loving! Intimate weekends with family and friends are giving us all of the Father-of-the-Bride feels that we could ever dream of!

What trends are you forecasting for 2021?

For 2021, we are expecting the overwhelming return of live events. We are seeing more innovative lounge elements, such as floral-adorned iron arbors being incorporated into venues to create more intimate spacing.

What is your best advice for a bride who is attempting to get married during this pandemic?

To all of the sweet brides out there navigating through this tough season, we encourage you to remember that it is not about the location or date, but the person standing at the end of the aisle waiting for you on your big day! Reducing guest count does not mean sacrificing style. Incorporate larger lounge areas and less seated tables, over-the-top florals, and other unique details that you would have otherwise not had the space for!

Thank you so much for taking time to be with us today! How can brides-to-be get in contact with the White Door Events team?

Brides can reach us through our website www.whitedoorevents.com. We look forward to hearing from you!
