Christmas morning came bright and early for out family. We woke up, opened presents, enjoyed time with each other, and then it was time to start the cooking.
We always have a big Christmas dinner at my husband’s grandparent’s house, so I started to prepare my dish that I was bringing. I made a caramelized/candied sweet potatoes dish (my grandma’s recipe which made it extra special)…and boy was it delicious! I wanted to dress festive, but not necessarily a red and green outfit; and since I’m pregnant, it had to be something of comfort.
I picked out this Hunter Green Sweater Dress from ASOS (since sold out). I loved that it was a turtleneck dress, loose fitting, textured, and had an asymmetrical hem. I didn’t want my outfit to be plain, so I paired an oversized scarf from H&M that I purchased last year. This scarf is so warm and cozy! It also has a great color combo of mustard, dark purple, ivory, and mauve throughout the scarf. Lastly, I wore tights and my leather fur mules from Zara. It was definitely a cozy Christmas that day!
I love this outfit because even though I wore it for Christmas, it would work for any cozy winter day that you might encounter in 2018!
