Recently, I spent some time in Atlanta, GA - a beautiful city with a ton of fun places! Today, I'm going to take you on a virtual tour of Atlanta and let you "visit" some of the places I did. I hope you enjoy!
STAY
We stayed at the Candler Hotel, a beautiful 4-star hotel that is called Atlanta's favorite hotel. I loved the mix of modern decor and elegant architecture!
EAT
First up on our agenda was breakfast at Callie's Hot Little Biscuit - the cutest little spot for Southern-style biscuits, sandwiches, and coffee.
We stopped at Doughnut Dollie's - another great place - in the afternoon for a quick snack after sightseeing.
Dinner was Mary Mac's Tea Room where everything is made from scratch and has been for over 75 years! You'll get a taste of true Southern hospitality here!
SEE
After breakfast, we got lost driving around (ha!) but we weren't mad in the least! We loved seeing the Buckhead area, near the governor's mansion, where we viewed all the jaw-dropping, gorgeous houses. We spent the afternoon thrifting at various stores in the same area.
The Atlanta Zoo was a must-see on our list and was such a fun place to take our son, Monty.
Atlanta was the perfect little getaway for our family! It's such a family-friendly (huge for me) city with so many nice areas.
