I have always admired Dainty Jewells' clothes. But haven't we all?
I would browse the website and say, “One day I'm going to have a closet full of Dainty Jewells' clothes.” Oh how gorgeous these dresses, blouses and skirts were, and I would just swoon over the designs and patterns.
I told my husband that I had set a new goal to have a few pieces of Dainty Jewells' clothing hanging in my closet. He so sweetly surprised me with a few dresses for Christmas that year! I could not believe how gorgeous and stunning these pieces were as I held them up in excitement! The pictures really never do them justice. I'm sure you can agree to this. Pictures do not allow us to know just how luxurious these pieces are.
The next spring, I decided to submit an article to the She's Intentional Blog and much to my surprise, I was accepted as a contributing writer. I was elated to say the least!
A friend of mine, Brianna Belton of Brianna Belton Designs, saw my post about being accepted as a writer and she told me how the Dainty Jewells' team was coming to her studio to do a photoshoot, and she invited me to attend for the day.
The day was like a dream! Meeting Charity Walter was an absolute pleasure. And I loved meeting her team and the models that had come from different areas of the United States to be involved in the photoshoot.
You can feel the passion that Charity has for her business. Elegance oozes from her character and she has such a sweet way about her. The way that she presents herself online is just how she is in person. And that's the kind of person that you want to support! Someone who doesn't put on airs but has the heart and mind of God. I just admire and adore all that Charity stands for in life and how she pushes herself to create beautiful designs that others can enjoy. In a time where “the world” and “the church” lines are being blended, it’s so important to remain true to our holiness lifestyle.
While at the photoshoot, I jumped in with both feet and offered to help however I could. I helped serve the team, I ran errands for last minute needed items, I helped the models change and dress, I helped gather dresses and items for location changes, and was also able to help the talented and amazing Brianna Belton set up and arrange the tablescape for the photoshoot. I just could not believe I was living this day and doing all of the things I love. And the best part is that I got to do it alongside one of my best friends who came along.
All of this that I've mentioned happened in a short time frame. It's just like God to take our dreams and turn them into reality and make it so much better than we thought possible! I never could have imagined that I would be a contributing writer for the She's Intentional Blog, meet Charity Walter and be a part of helping with a photoshoot, or now owning so many gorgeous Dainty Jewells' pieces. But remember that with God all things are possible.
In honor of Dainty Jewells' 15 year celebration, I applaud every effort of Charity and her local team, every remote team member, every contributing writer for the blog, and every person who has had a hand in the Dainty Jewells' business. Without them, we wouldn't be able to dress in the most stunning and luxurious modest clothes.
And I encourage you to dream today! You never know when your dreams may become a reality!
