When someone asks me what my “style” is, I usually don’t really know what to say. When it comes to home decor, that still stands true. The past several years, all I could say was that I like quite a bit of white. I want white walls, white bedding, white everything. I also love exposed brick walls, reclaimed wood, and a dark wood flooring. Now with beloved Pinterest, I have refined and narrowed down my actual “style” and I would say it’s a mixture of French/farmhouse/Scandinavian/modern… Okay, maybe it’s not that narrowed down. Although, below I want to share some of my absolute favorite home decor styles and designs that have given me so much inspiration and I hope you enjoy.
My favorite thing about the picture above would have to be the flooring. I adore this type of flooring! I visited a restaurant with this type of flooring and when I walked in, I about died. Not literally, but I was quite pleased. Of course, I also love the reclaimed wood walls, they add such a special element to the bathroom.
This picture just makes me so happy! It’s so clean, airy, and pleasing to look at. I showed it to my boyfriend when he asked what I wanted the inside of my house to look like, but he did not find it as pleasing to look at. Therefore, we may have a problem.
I mean, who wouldn’t want their closet to look like this?
This may just be the neatest shower I have ever seen. I would die to have this in my house one day.
Another thing that I have loved since I can remember is copper. To me, copper looks absolutely stunning in a kitchen. In the picture above, the exposed copper pipes are my favorite! I have started to collect a few copper items (the ones that don’t tarnish) and I cannot wait to place them in my future kitchen!
Last but not least, we have bedroom inspiration. This bedroom just hits the nail on the head for me. It’s modern, but also looks cozy and that throw blanket is calling my name!
I thought it would be fun to share with you some of my favorite home decor pictures from Pinterest. I absolutely love seeing everyone else’s as well — so you should leave us a link to your Pinterest boards in the comments below, I would love to check them out!
