Spring is here and that means floral prints, beautiful weather, and bright, cheerful colors.
Spring is a short season for me here in South Texas but I still appreciate the spring atmosphere and absorb as much of it as I can before the temperatures rise too much.
One of my favorite changes in spring is my wardrobe. I love lighter-weight materials and fun spring prints — polka dots, stripes, and florals! The colors are brighter and something just feels great about a dress and sandals. This ASOS Dress would be the perfect spring dress –pair it with sandals for going out in the day or a gorgeous peep-toe pump for church! Another spring change that I adore is the food. While I love the deep flavors of winter food I also really look forward to lighter meals with pops of citrus flavors, berry accents, and more vivid colors. This Strawberry Basil Soda has made it on to my next meal plan and I can see it becoming a spring staple for me.
Now that spring is approaching we’re looking for ways to spruce up the outside of our house as well and I’m drawn to bright colorful flowers. I am looking forward to filling our planters with purple, pink, yellow, and white flowers!
