The smell of fresh cedar, the decorating, the time spent with family, the cooking and baking, the Christmas lights, all of the other wonderful things that come with the month of December . . . such as beautiful gift-wrapping!

When it comes to gift-wrapping, whether it be for Christmas, a birthday, or whatever the occasion may be, there are so many different ideas that come to my mind. I think one of the main things I do when wrapping is mixing and matching. To me, it really gives an excellent contrast and makes that gift extra-special — or you can keep it simple, and it’s just as lovely!
Although gift-wrapping can get expensive when you add all of the extra touches, you can luckily use those tidbits left over from the last gift you wrapped and wasn’t sure what to do with!

I’m so glad I took the time to wrap each gift differently this year. It may be a little time-consuming (and completely ripped apart in 30 seconds!), but for now, I’m enjoying the gifts under our tree and can’t wait to hand them out!
