Apostolic Creators: Fiction & Non-fiction Books by Apostolic Ladies
September 03, 2021 · by Ashton Dorow
I am a book lover through and through! If I had room to just collect pretty books, even if I had zero intention of ever actually reading them, I totally would, just for the sake of giving these lovely beauties a home. Haha! The love of books is made even greater since I am also a book blogger and an author myself. So basically, books are everywhere in my life!
There are many incredible authors out there, so many of whose work I absolutely love. But being an Apostolic believer, I am always on the lookout for fellow Apostolic writers, especially other ladies. I truly hope to see many more of these such creators in the future, but there are already several that I have discovered and would love to share with you today!
Check out the list below of some amazing Apostolic ladies (including some members of the Dainty Jewell’s blog team) who have written both fiction and non-fiction books that you might enjoy!
Lori Wagner
Lori Wagner was one of the first Apostolic female authors I ever heard of when I was a young teen. She is a prolific writer, with many titles under her belt, both fiction and non-fiction. But her most popular titles are her Pure Path books. These non-fiction books are must reads for all Apostolic ladies--especially teens--in my opinion! They deal with areas of outward and inward holiness, such as modesty, hair, makeup, jewelry, and purity in a way that is both entertaining and informative!
If you’d like to read these books, you can purchase them HERE from the Pentecostal Publishing House.
Shenae Andrus
Shenae Andrus is a minister’s wife, mother, worship leader, public speaker, and writer. Her series of Bible study workbooks for young ladies are excellent resources you can use in your youth group, Bible study/small group, or even just read on your own. Both volume one and two are available from the Pentecostal Publishing House or Amazon.
Nicole Soto
There are few books by an Apostolic lady that I have heard more excellent reviews for than Nicole (Arnold) Soto’s Worth It. I remember first seeing her post about this book on Instagram when it was released, and I was so inspired by how she self-published this book to such great success! If you’re looking for an inspiring read, be sure to check this one out. Worth It is only available through Nichole’s website, and she has it available in small batches of printings, so you’ll have to catch it when it’s in stock!
Jacy Lee Pulford ~ Dainty Jewell’s Blogger
Jacy Lee Pulford is a wife, mother, artist, Instagram blogger, host of the popular Hello Awesome podcast, fellow Dainty Jewell’s blog contributor, and the author of three non-fiction books--plus the creator of two fun coloring books! Her modest fashion coloring books and her books Give it to God, Girl, The Glitter Effect, and The Palace Keepers: Protecting Purity of the Heart are all available from the Pentecostal Publishing House. Be sure to check these out, along with Jacy’s podcast!
Regina Felty ~ Dainty Jewell’s Blogger
Regina Felty has been my Instagram friend over on my #Bookstagram account for a while now, and I was so excited to see when she recently joined the Dainty Jewell’s blog team! She is the author of two novels, When You Walked By and Mazie, which just released in July. When not writing books, she works as an American Sign Language Educational Interpreter and manages her blog, It’s a Felty Thing. Her debut novel, When You Walked By, was a finalist for the Wishing Shelf Award, and both of her books are available on Amazon. They are currently only $0.99 on Kindle, so snag those deals while you can!
Ashton E. Dorow ~ Dainty Jewell's Blogger
And lastly, there’s me--Ashton Dorow! I have loved books for as long as I can remember, and at age fourteen, that love became a passion when I began writing my first novel. My first published work, The Peasant Queen, is a retelling of Esther set in a fictional medieval kingdom. I have also published two Biblical fiction short stories, In the Manger and At the Cross, that imagine the Christmas and Easter stories through the eyes of those who witnessed them. I am currently working on the sequel to The Peasant Queen, which will be a twist on the story of Ruth, so be on the lookout for that in 2022! All of my books are available for purchase on Amazon, and are free to read with a Kindle Unlimited subscription.
