Meet the Author

We recently released our first devotional book - a compilation of blog articles written by members of our Dainty Jewells community over the last several years. We are delighted to have this encouraging resource for Christian women everywhere. Written for ladies of any age or stage of life, She's Intentional: Daily Devotions is a faith-building book that will challenge the Christian lady's walk.

With over 25 contributing authors, we are able to cover a wide range of topics in this devotional. Today, we are featuring one of those authors, Allison Cox! Allison contributed many articles on motherhood with a common encouraging statement at the end of each: "Mama, if you're doing your best, you're doing a good job." She also contributed articles about life and leaning on Jesus. A few of her articles are, "What Am I Planting?", "Put Your Oxygen Mask on First, Mama", "A Diamond or a Rock", and "The Part Martha Missed".

Allison Cox is a Louisiana native turned Californian and the pastor’s wife at The North State Pentecostals. She is passionate about writing, crafting, and sharing the good news that Jesus still changes lives. If she could share her heart with every teenage girl, Allison would say that living for God is truly the BEST life, and God has plans for your life that are far greater than you could ever imagine.
