Charity's Birthday Trip to Hawaii

February 26, 2025 ยท by Charity Walter

Last month for my birthday, my family took a vacation to Hawaii. We had a great time and already want to go back! Today, I'm sharing my highlights from the trip, along with links to our favorite spots along the way.

STAY

We stayed at the Honua Kai Resort in Maui. We loved our stay here! The views were amazing and the amenities spectacular. This resort is great for families - very kid-friendly.

EAT

Trying new restaurants is a must on vacation! We enjoyed Duke's Beach House, which was attached to our resort. Mama's Fish House was another favorite. The Plantation House was fabulous with gorgeous views and an open-air dining room. We also enjoyed visiting the food truck spot for a quick meal.

PLAY

There is so much to do in Hawaii, and we enjoyed being able to see the sights. We went snorkeling (yay for Dainty Jewells swim dresses!) and lounged around the beach. One of our favorite things to do on vacation is cook our own meals, either outside on the grill or in a kitchen. There's something about being able to slow down and relax that makes cooking so much more fun!

Our time in Hawaii was just what we needed to recharge! Thanks for coming along for our vacation recap!
