Falling into Fashion
October 01, 2014
Every woman has those days when it seems nearly impossible to create a fabulous outfit for church. There have been numerous times when I have stood outside my closet for twenty minutes frantically trying to put something decent together. Sometimes I will get so stressed that I will nearly have a nervous breakdown because “I have nothing to wear!”
Let’s be honest and admit that we all experience those times; however, you can easily limit outfit crises by simply being prepared. This outfit is one of my favorite looks because it is so simple. I am basically wearing neutral colors with my scarf as the pop of color. I encourage you to invest in pieces that you can wear continually, as well as pieces that are versatile. A sequin skirt is definitely a go-to piece in my closet because it instantly transforms the typical black pencil skirt into a dressy statement piece. Pairing it with a brightly colored scarf gives the ensemble a unique fall flair that I absolutely love. I am also a huge fan of a skirt with a high waist band; this one is leather, and gives the skirt that perfect balance between trendy and classic. My shoes are two-toned leather, and I must say I am obsessed with these shoes and wear them constantly.
I cannot wait for the unveiling of the Dainty Jewell’s Fall Collection happening next Monday, October 6th! I am sure that you will find something that you simply cannot live without. Have a fabulous week, and don’t forget to make modest fashion a priority. As daughters of the King, we are a light to this world. Remember that people watch what you wear, so let’s make our outward appearance, along with our inward, something that God would be proud to call his daughter!
Happy Fall, Darlings!
