The Bible describes life as a vapor that appears for a short time and then vanishes (James 4:14). As the days just fly by, I can totally feel that! Where does the time go?
The swift passing of time is one thing that makes me want to cherish life as it happens, making the most of each moment and being mindful of the special times. I’m sure for many of you, Christmas is a time when you do that. It’s such a sweet, meaningful season, and we tend to want to make memories over the holidays that we can appreciate for years to come.
Sometimes it takes just a few special touches to make a day or event extra-memorable — a little extra effort put into the packaging of a gift, a little extra practice for a Christmas concert, or a dish from a family recipe that turns out just perfect for an office Christmas party. Sometimes it’s a special outfit that gives your day that extra touch of sparkle.
