Let This Mind Be In You

January 05, 2015

The holiday festivities are over, life is on her way to becoming normal once again. But I do not want to simply fall prey to living life in a complacent kind of way. I do not want to fall back into unhealthy habits of 2014, even if there was nothing wrong with them.

I want 2015 to be the year of intentionality as never before.

When, in 2016, I look back, I want to be able to say that 2015 was lived with purpose, intention, and grace.

And while I do not want to overdo the whole new year resolution post, it is important for us as Christian women and girls to keep those goals in our minds.

Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. {Philippians 2:2-5}

We who gather here at She’s Intentional on a weekly basis are likeminded. We believe in modesty, godliness, and love. We are likeminded in our faith, in our beliefs, in our desire to live life to please Jesus Christ.

This year, let us work together to become more like Christ, to reach out for Him and seek Him in all that we do.

Let this mind be in you: be intentional, live out your calling, live completely for Jesus.

And as we are working to become better Christians, to become intentional ladies, let us work together; let us walk in likemindedness to encourage each other in all that we do!
