I get compliments on all of my Dainty Jewell’s dresses, but I never get more than when I wear my Lovely Lace dress. I liked it when I saw it on the website, but in real life I love it!
It’s beautiful, elegant, and unique. It’s also available in black, which you can preview on the website. The liner fabric is stretchy and comfortable. Even without the aid of the side zipper (which I failed to notice until after my first wear!) I was able to easily pull the dress over my head.
On the website, the lace on the front looked more delicate to me than what it actually ended up being, but I like the thicker lace.
I am really impressed with how durable the fabric of this dress is in spite of its net/lace texture. I have a toddler who thinks I’m the monkey bars, and even after wearing the dress a few times with him climbing all over me, the fabric hasn’t torn or run. (Not that I wouldn’t advise using caution!) Do keep in mind that this is a dry-clean only dress. In my opinion, it’s also a little warmer than some of my other Dainty Jewell’s dresses. I imagine I’ll be able to wear it comfortably into the winter.
