Modest Clothing: Transition from Summer to Fall

September 09, 2023 ยท by Andrea Long

As the seasons change, so does our wardrobe. But if you're looking to dress modestly, it can be a challenge to know how to transition your summer clothes to fall without sacrificing your style.

Here are a few tips:

Layer up. One of the easiest ways to add warmth and coverage to your summer clothes is to layer them. For example, you could wear a collared top under a simple dress, or a blazer over a top and skirt.

Choose thicker fabrics. As the weather gets cooler, opt for thicker fabrics like denim, corduroy, and flannel. These fabrics will help you stay warm without sacrificing your modesty.

Accessorize with scarves and cardigans. Scarves and cardigans are a great way to add coverage and style to your outfits. They can also be used to keep you warm on chilly days.

Don't be afraid to mix and match. When it comes to modest fall fashion, there are no hard and fast rules. Feel free to mix and match different pieces to create your own unique style.

Opt for darker colors and fall florals. Choose colors and prints that correlate with the autumn palette to transition from summer to fall. In the warmer states, the weather may not feel very fall-like in September or October, but choosing deep jewel tones and autumn-inspired florals will transition you well from a summer wardrobe to a fall one.

With these tips in mind, you can easily transition your summer clothes to fall without sacrificing your modesty or style. So get creative and have fun with it!
