I remember sitting in one of my college classes the day my wedding photographer, Cynthia Rankin of Thia Photographie, called me and asked if I wanted to take my bridal shots that day. It was around noon, but for some reason that day was really foggy. It was a one of a kind and unique day; one that my photographer knew I would want to be a part of.
As soon as my class was over, I left campus and headed straight home. I quickly braided my hair, got dressed in my wedding gown, and left to meet Cynthia. She took me to this beautiful home by the river where we proceeded to take some amazing pictures.
When I was on the search for a wedding dress, I knew that I wanted a gown that was unique with a vintage flair. So I began my search.
I eventually found this gorgeous, vintage Neiman Marcus gown from the 1960s at the Goodwill for the amazing price of $45! I knew as soon as I saw the dress that it was MY dress. I was overjoyed that I had found the dress of my dreams for such an amazing price and perfect condition. Thrifting is my thing, so this was pure bliss!
I was 100% pleased with how my bridal pictures turned out. I wouldn’t change anything about them! I feel like they’re timeless and elegant and I couldn’t be happier with the spontaneity of the photoshoot.
