As I count down the days until the arrival of our new baby boy, I can’t help but think of the miracle of a new birth. The birth of each of my children brought such an awe to me, and when I looked at their face for the first time and thought of the Creator forming them in His loving way, it took my breath away. I feel like God has given us little glimpses of the way He loves and cherishes us when we feel those heartstring-pulling moments with our children or when we feel the excitement of someone receiving the Holy Ghost for the first time. It is such a beautiful and holy thing when new life, whether physical or spiritual, begins! As you walk through your days, don’t forget that each day is a new beginning to awaken those things that are asleep, to begin to walking with God in a deeper way, and to start to do the things you feel led into! Keep being willing to be reborn in Jesus and His word each day!
