One Lucky Duck: Remi's First Birthday Party

April 23, 2025 ยท by Charity Walter

We recently celebrated our youngest son's first birthday (a little late, but better late than never!). I had so much fun planning for this simple party that we will remember for years to come. The decor was easy and classy; search for "one lucky duck birthday party decor" on Amazon, and you can find most of what I used.

For a budget-friendly party, my motto is "keep things simple". Make your own cake to save that expense. A simple white icing and cake topper is perfect. To keep with the outdoors/pond theme, I used gold fish for party favors. A small bounce house fit perfectly in our entryway for all the littles to play.

A birthday party doesn't have to be expensive or extravagant to be special. The sweet memories are priceless! Check out my reel of the party on our instagram @daintyjewellsblog.
