Our Hope is in Jesus

September 18, 2017

And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in thee.

{Psalms 39:7, KJV}

The newspaper headlines around the globe carry news that ranges from bad to terrible. With all of the natural disasters happening recently, rumors of wars, and devastation happening worldwide, we need to spread the message of Jesus far and wide, everywhere we go.

I could not live without depending on Jesus for my safety, security, and life each day. I trust the one who gave me my life, to lead it in the direction it should go.

Looking out into the darkness that is all around, I feel the need to share my faith about Jesus, His love, and His truth more than ever before. May my little light shine bright in this time when darkness wants to consume us.

Darling, don’t be afraid, for God created us for such a time as this. We are meant to live in the here and now, because Jesus thought you could be effective and useful in His kingdom at this time.

In times of uncertainty and world chaos, Jesus remains the one constant in our lives. He never changes, and He alone remains the same. As God’s children, let’s learn to depend on Him for our well-being. We refuse to worry, because we are in His hands and we trust that He will care for His children. Dear daughter of God, comfort yourself and one another through these perilous times with the hope that we have in Jesus. That one day soon, he will come back for us to join Him forevermore.

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

{1 Thessalonians 4:17-18, KJV}
