Exciting news: the first day of spring is this Friday, March 20th!
If you're like me, spring marks the beginning of a happy season: flowers bloom, birds sing, Easter lilies decorate church buildings, and we pull out floppy hats and sundresses. And then the weather! I love the warmer temps and sweet breezes.
WIth all that in mind, what better way to get a jumpstart on the season than to decorate your home with spring vibes? For those in the mood for a change, here are some creative ideas!
Paige Kniskern on EtsyDuring spring and every other time of the year, let your guests know they're welcome from the moment they knock on the front door. Incorporating a wreath in the entryway of your home instantly makes it more cheerful. This is also where guests get their first impression of your home. Personalize your wreath by adding the initial of your last name or by attaching a cheerful welcome sign! I personally love the pink flowers here along with the burlap bow. Pottery Barn
I adore this theme for Easter. The white arrangements and soft pink flowers have such a tranquil look. I've noticed a recent trend of colorful or white animal statues becoming decoration pieces. These little bunny figures can be found at many thrift stores, and you can give them an inexpensive makeover by spray-painting them the color of your choice. Also, if you decide to garnish the house with festive Easter decor, hanging "Happy Easter" eggs on the rose-petal tree branches is a beautiful touch. What I love about this assortment is how neutral it is. Some of it can even be used after the holiday.

I have a slight obsession with colorful bird cages, bird décor, and anything that’s vintage-inspired! I love this mantel because of its artistic and whimsical appeal. It inspires me; it's the perfect depiction of ideal spring home décor to me!
Many of the ornaments in this photo can become a simple DIY project. Just find a burlap banner at a craft store and some old book pages for the flowers hanging above the “NEST” banner. This décor can evoke a fun and cheerful atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.
As spring makes its appearance, I’m making it a point to have a simple reminder of Easter displayed in my home. Among the cute bunnies, birds, tulips, and so forth, I love reminders in my home of why we as humans are able to admire the change of seasons: It is because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ and His incorruptible, unfailing love for us all. For that, I am eternally grateful. I truly take delight in displaying His Word throughout my home. A scripture wall sign can be dressed up by adding pops of color with tulips or daisies.
This Easter centerpiece would be super easy to put together -- and budget-friendly! I love the thought of something like this on the kitchen table. And when Easter is over, you can just hang onto it and change up the inside. I found some artificial pink flowers like these to garnish my room, and they've created such a cheerful vibe.
I hope these spring décor ideas have inspired you to create some new looks in your home this season!
