So I caved. I finally decided to purchase The Charlotte Dress. I loved the dress from day one, however, I was very concerned about the color. Before I purchased this dress, I did not own anything mustard colored due to my skin tone. I absolutely love the color on other people, but I never thought that I would be brave enough to wear it myself. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The Charlotte Dress is definitely a winner. I love clothing that is very streamlined, and I feel that this dress definitely caters to my style and personal preference.

I decided to complement the dress with an embellished belt. I purchased this one from Forever 21, however, Anthropologie has some stunning ones that would be perfect with this dress, too.

I knew that I wanted to add some edge to the very feminine dress, so I decided to add my strappy black heels. These heels are very edgy and serve as a perfect contrast to the dress. For my bag, I opted with a snakeskin bag that once again went with the edgy theme of the shoes.

To finish off the look I decided to wear my hair in a high, slick pony tail. I am a firm believer in slick hair. I think it really gives off a chic and sophisticated vibe.

Overall, I highly recommend this dress. The Charlotte Dress is timeless, yet can be accessorized to your own personal style preferences! Dainty Jewell’s never fails to offer beautiful pieces that are modest and unique! I can’t wait for the Spring collection launch!

Also, I would just like to take a moment to talk about how fabulous Charity Jewell is. I have such admiration and respect for this woman who built an entire company from nothing. Very few women can say that they have a successful fashion brand and company that they started at only 16 years of age. I, like so many young women, am inspired and empowered by the difference that she has made and continues to make in the world. I simply wanted to take a moment to celebrate the wonderful designer, business owner and world changer that she is!

So step out of your comfort zone and try something different than your norm. I promise you won’t regret it!
