As most of you know, in eleven short days, it’ll be Easter! If you know me well, you know I LOVE holidays! Christmas, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Thanksgiving . . . And there’s always the national Instagram holidays: nationalpizzaday, nationaldonutday, nationalmacaroonday, nationalcoffeeday . . .
Haha–okay, I’ll stop, but you get my point. You name a holiday, and I probably love it! Besides the meanings of all of these holidays, I love the hype of it all. I don’t know if it’s just me, but right before a huge holiday, it seems as if everyone is looking for the perfect presents, outfits, shoes, decor, and so much more. I love it!
Out of all the holidays, Easter is HIGH on my list of favorites. I am so appreciative of the blood that Jesus shed. I am so GRATEFUL for the cross. I am so thankful for His grace and unconditional love! He didn’t have to endure all the pain, but He knew there would be a 23-year-old girl in need of his mercy, love, and grace.
I. Am. Thankful.
With that being said I really do take this time of celebration to heart!
I love the hustle and bustle of everyone looking for an Easter dress/outfit. I even enjoy looking for my Easter dress every year. Finding a new dress for such a special holiday sounds like a perfect combination! This year I have several options, and Dainty Jewell’s gorgeous A Ruffle In Time Dress is one of them!
When searching for an Easter dress, I always think easy and comfortable. My church choir always gets to church almost an hour early on Easter Sunday, so I’m always thinking of what will be easy to slip on! After our special Easter service, we have a big feast that typically will last for 3-4 hours if not longer. If I am going to be in a dress for 6+ hours, it HAS to be comfortable!
The material of this dress is the softest polyester, which is why it is so comfortable. I am 5’3 and ordered an XL so I would have a little bit of extra room. It honestly is perfect for Easter in my eyes.
