The Striped Bow Top | 4 Ways

May 02, 2018

I love stripes and bows! So, when this adorable Striped Bow Top hit the shop . . . it caught my eye!

I don’t normally wear white, especially when it comes to tops, because the material is usually too thin and requires extra layering. But, I loved this and decided to go for it!

I was pleasantly surprised to find that I needed no additional layering! It’s a comfy, knit material that’s perfect for spring & summer . . . well, all seasons, in my opinion!

This could easily become a closet staple for me (and you!), because it can be styled several different ways. Here are 4 ways I wanted to share with you! (You may already have the perfect companion piece to the Striped Bow Top hanging in your closet!)

1. All Dressed Up

Tucked into a high-waisted skirt (tulle, lace, or pleated), this top can easily be dressed up. Add some heels and a cute purse, and you’re all set! Plus, who doesn’t love being dressed and still so comfy?!

2. Mixed Prints

I love mixing prints! The Striped Bow Top is perfect for this! You can go bold with a look like mine, or add a subtle dot or floral printed skirt. And don’t forget the fun shoes!

3. The Vest

Because the bow isn’t tacked down at the edges, you can easily add a vest, blazer, or even v-neck dress over the top. For this look, I also added a bold pop of color with my cobalt blue skirt. Check out these colored denim skirts from Peony Street Boutique. (More mixed prints, anyone? I couldn’t resist the leopard print shoes!)

4. The Collared Shirt

Spring hasn’t quite sprung where I’m at, so adding the collared, denim shirt is a cute way to add another layer and go without a jacket. I love this with the denim, but it would also be cute with a printed or bright colored shirt under it and this black tassel skirt!

The Striped Bow Top comes in two other colors, so there are endless possibilities!
