As ladies, when we think of our “Big Day,” I’m sure we can all agree that “The Perfect Dress” is an absolute essential. However, I think that the wedding venue is equally as important, yet one that often gets overlooked. I have attended a fair share of weddings, and although I do not consider myself a wedding expert, I do know a stunning wedding when I see one. I must say that the venue and overall décor is extremely important in making your day a success, and most of all a day that you and your guests will remember forever. I love a classic wedding with a twist; there is something about a wedding that has a classic feel yet still embodies the personality of the bride.
The location in the image above is particularly stunning because of all the massive chandeliers. However, I also love the table setting. You could obtain a similar, yet still breathtaking look, with the use of only one large chandelier and create a similar effect.

This venue is incredibly beautiful, and features decor that will be extremely memorable. The actual table decor is very attainable. They use various shades of cream and silver, as well as small silver table lamps. They key to obtaining this look is the breathtaking centerpiece. You could achieve this look using a large clear vase filled with various shades and types of white flowers.

Barns are a recent favorite venue for weddings. They have a gorgeous, rustic affect that many brides find appealing. This rustic decor look can be achieved simply by mixing various, rustic elements with classic pieces. They mix the traditional white table cloths, white plates, and lovely pink cloth napkins with the barn location, the white lights and the white fabric draped along the ceiling beams. This look is one of my favorites!

This location is the Biltmore Estate in Ashville, North Carolina. This venue is absolutely stunning, and I’m sure would definitely help to create an unforgettable wedding. The mansion is said to be unbelievable and will leave you and your guests in a state of wonder. If for some reason, you find that you would rather not spend a fortune on your wedding venue, you can achieve a similar look by renting a mansion or plantation house near your home that will be much more cost effective. In Michigan, near my home, we have America’s fourth largest mansion, The Dodge Mansion, that is so stunning, and much cheaper to rent than the Biltmore Mansion.

I adore this photo. Looking at this honestly makes me so happy because the décor is absolutely magical. There is just something about it that reminds me of a fairytale. This look is not that difficult to achieve, although the effect is stunning. The trees are simply wrapped with stands of white lights and lanterns occupy the table, serving as a centerpiece.
Overall, all of these looks are stunning and will assist in creating the wedding of your dreams. Guests will enjoy a wedding that uniquely represents you as the bride and your personality. There is something about a stunning venue that resonates not only with your guests but with the overall atmosphere and purpose of the wedding. If you’re planning a wedding or simply getting inspiration for your future day just remember a mantra similar to “location, location, location”: “venue, venue, venue”!
