While we should be thankful all year around, this is the time of the year when many of us enjoy being more vocal about expressing it.
It is nice to take a designated time to think about what we are thankful for and showing that gratitude to those surrounding us. It’s nice just to simply tell someone thank you but what if we took it a step forward and came up with a creative way to let them know you appreciate that special person in your life?
I have found a few ideas that would make a fun gift or activity that anyone can participate in this season to tell someone thank you. Not only will creating these things be nice for the recipient, but it will also be a great way to force us to take time to focus on gratitude.
A Thankful Tree would make a pretty decoration in your home and you can add something you are grateful for everyday. If you are making it for a particular person, then everyday add something you are particularly grateful for about that individual. When you give it to them at the end of the month they will not only have a beautiful plant, but a personalized decoration as well!

Covering a pumpkin in gratitude would be another fun way to tell someone you appreciate all they have been for you!

We have all seen gratitude journals where we list what we are grateful for everyday. But instead of making it for yourself, fill it with gratitude about someone else. It would be like giving the ultimate greeting card.

If you have young kids then making this wreath with them could be a fun way to teach them about gratitude. Have them fill out their gratefulness on leaves and let them deliver it to the recipient.

I hope everyone finds time to be grateful this month and has someone in their life that deserves a little extra thankfulness!
