Christmas Morning Breakfasts

December 22, 2014

Christmas morning is always filled with excitement.

Whether you have little kids or your home only consists of adults, there is something wonderful on that morning when you know you are going to exchange gifts. It is not even so much about receiving presents as it is sharing joy and knowing how happy everyone is that day.

Of course, once all of the presents have been unwrapped, toys have been assembled, and clean up begins, there is a small part that can easily be forgotten — breakfast! We have routine for the morning and we plan our menu for Christmas dinner, but what about the in-between of gifts and dinner? While you watch your kids play with their gifts or visiting with one another, you need to have something great to eat!

I have found a few festive Christmas breakfasts that should not take too much work (you want to spend the time with your family, not in the kitchen!) and that you will all appreciate.

If you are feeling extremely festive, you could make those Cinnamon Tree Rolls, from scratch. It will impress your family and would be an easy treat to serve.
