I couldn’t wait to share my new favorite recipe with you all! These healthy banana pancakes take hardly no time to whip up and are seriously SO good. I found the pancake recipe here and decided to add organic, natural peanut butter, a simple homemade syrup and strawberries! Head to the end of the post to find out more!
This is my favorite natural peanut butter! I picked it up at our local Reasor’s grocery store. A little tip if you like peanut butter on your pancakes or waffles is to put it in a microwave-safe cup and heat it for around 20 seconds. Then, you can just simply pour it over the pancakes instead of spreading.
Pancake Recipe
- 2 Bananas, medium
- 1/2 Cup Almond Milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 cup flour (I use whole grain oat flour)
Instructions
Puree the bananas and add your almond milk. My favorite is the Califia unsweetened, the nut taste isn’t overbearing like most almond milks. You can find it at Publix, targets, whole foods, and Sprouts… or online here. Then proceed to add your eggs, whisk, and then add your dry ingredients. I use a 1/4 measuring cup for a scoop and set the heat on around 3 or 4.
Also, in these pictures, I decided to cut the above recipe in half and it made around 6 pancakes.
Easy Maple Syrup Recipe
Boil one cup of water, add two cups of organic cane sugar around 1 tsp of natural Maple flavor like this one. You can add more if necessary. It’s simple and much better than store-bought syrup!
I hope you all loved this post and if you decide to make these delicious pancakes, please let me know how you liked them! Have a wonderful day, everyone.
