Salted Caramel Crunch Recipe

As the weather starts to cool down, we'll all start to spend more time indoors cuddled under warm blankets, snacking. Maybe some of us will have the toasty crackle of a fire in the fireplace. However this autumn looks for your family, you're going to need a treat: This yummy sweet-and-salty snack mix is easy to throw together and is oh-so-good!

You'll need:
Popped popcorn
Caramel candies
Candy corn
Powdered sugar

I'll be the first to admit, this recipe is probably not dentist-approved! But after the year we had, I think it's okay to indulge a little. First thing you'll need to do is place the Oreos in a sandwich bag. Use the back of a large spoon to break them up into small pieces.

In a medium bowl, melt a couple of spoonfuls of butter. Add in the Oreos. Then melt half of the caramel pieces and add to the Oreos. Sprinkle in two tablespoons of powdered sugar. Mix well. Dump into the bottom of a pan and press it together.

Pop the popcorn and mix with the candy corn in a large bowl.

Press the popcorn mixture on top of the Oreo crust. Lightly press down. Melt and drizzle the rest of the caramel on top. Serve immediately. The gooey caramel paired with the salty popcorn and the crunchy cookie is pretty amazing! Use your hands if you don't mind sticky fingers, or grab a large spoon.
