Scrumptious Sausage Quiche Recipe

April 08, 2026 ยท by Anyssa Hessler

Spring is here and that means brunch is back! Easter, Mother's Day, garden parties - there are so many fun gatherings in spring, and I wanted to share a simple yet scrumptious recipe you could make for any of these occasions. I just made this for Easter and my family devoured it. Both of my children asked for it to be on the menu again soon! You can easily adjust the ingredients to your liking - the possibilities are endless.

Sausage Quiche Recipe
Ingredients:

1 pie crust - I prefer to make my own pie crust and this has been my go-to recipe for years!
1 cup cooked sausage
1 cup chopped spinach
1/4 cup diced onion
2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
6 eggs
1 cup heavy cream
Salt & pepper

Instructions:

If you're making your own pie crust, prep that first and allow it to chill in the fridge. If you're using a premade pie crust, preheat the oven 375 degrees. Lightly oil your pie dish to prevent sticking and press the pie crust into it.

Add an even layer of cooked sausage, chopped spinach and onion. Cover with 1 cup of the shredded cheese.

Wisk together the eggs, heavy cream and salt & pepper. Gently pour over the prepared pie crust and other ingredients. Wiggle the dish slightly to evenly distribute and remove any air bubbles. Sprinkle the remaining cup of shredded cheese evenly on top.

Bake for 45-50 minutes or until set and golden brown. I would recommend placing the pie pan on a baking sheet just in case it overflows at all.

Allow to cool a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
