3 Ways To Style A Black Turtleneck

November 14, 2022 ยท by Brittani Scott

Seattle is cold and in full fall mode, and I'm loving it!

Our summers are pretty perfect, but there is something special about fall and winter. Bundling up, crisp air, the hustle and bustle of the city... it's magical.

The turn of the weather means pulling out the sweaters and boots, and every lady needs a black turtle neck! It's such a versatile staple piece for the cold-weather wardrobe. Keep warm and still look amazing, right?!

Today, I'm sharing 3 easy ways to style, or layer, a black turtleneck.

1. A Blazer

Dainty Jewell's has been releasing the most adorable blazers, and I'm here for it! The fit and cut will flatter any figure, and the quality is amazing. I love all the pretty details, and I plan to continue adding these classic pieces to my closet as more prints and fabrics are released.

I recently got the Coffee In Central Park Blazer, and it's perfect over a black turtleneck with a pleated skirt and boots. I love the fabric and the colors of this blazer! It looks like a vintage suit, and I know it's going to last me years.

2. A Shacket

A shaket, a flannel shirt... both are super cute over a black turtleneck. I got this adorable, long, plaid shacket for my birthday last year. I wear it as much as I can! It's so cute and easy. Throw one on with your favorite athletic skirt and tennis shoes for a cozy, casual look.

3. A Dress

Want an easy way to make a dress feel more like a fall or winter outfit? Add a turtleneck under it! This even works with floral dresses that might be intended for warmer seasons. Throw on some tights and a fun pair of boots, and voila!

A black turtleneck is an easy, affordable find. Just check your Walmart, Target, or on Amazon. If you don't have one, get one! I think you'll get a ton of use out of layering it this season.
