On July 28th, Dainty Jewell’s celebrated an important milestone: the Grand Opening of a brand-new warehouse and retail space.
Though I live in Texas, I was so excited to be able to travel to Oregon for this event. The scenery was breathtaking to a southern girl like me, and I had a great time meeting Dainty Jewell’s’ staff and customers in person.
The new warehouse was the result of years of dreaming and hard work on behalf of Charity and her husband, Jess. It was such an exciting time for the whole Dainty Jewell’s team to celebrate together and interact with our customers.
With Dainty Jewell’s being based out of La Grande, Oregon, I realize there are many of you who would have loved to come to the Grand Opening, but it just wasn’t feasible. With that in mind, the Dainty Jewell’s team thought it would be fun to share some behind-the-scenes of the big day with you.
The new warehouse sits on land that faces a gorgeous Oregon landscape of open fields against a backdrop of scenic mountains and hills. The front doors of the building open to a retail space where customers can come in, shop, and try on clothes in person.
The first floor of the facility includes the showroom, the storage room, a kitchen, the order-packing area, and several offices. Upstairs is Charity’s beautiful office, along with Jess’s office, extra space, and the lovely dream/conference room.
Isn’t Charity’s office breathtaking?!
The storage room is full of beautiful dresses waiting to be shipped. Playing dress-up in here would be a blast!
Charity’s family came all the way from North Carolina for the Grand Opening. (And they are every bit as sweet and fun as she is!)
On Grand Opening day, we had a brief ribbon-cutting ceremony to start things off. If you didn’t catch our live video on Facebook, you can view it here! Afterward, visitors enjoyed four hours of shopping, food, warehouse tours, and giveaways. It turned out to be a wonderful day full of fun memories.
Just because he is too precious to leave out, here’s also a quick peek at Monty, the newest member of the Walter family! He was such a doll and was only about two weeks old at the time of the Grand Opening.
If you got to come to the Grand Opening and took pictures, make sure you tag @daintyjewells on Instagram and Facebook so we can see — and if you ever travel to the Northwest, take a moment to stop by lovely La Grande, Oregon and the new warehouse!
